My Sister’s Back (MSB) was birthed from a journey of pain, perseverance, and divine transformation. Our founder, Mrs. K. Duncan, has walked through the fire facing rejection, failure, humiliation, abuse, and financial struggles. But everything changed when she made a life-altering decision: to take God at His word. His promises became her foundation, transforming her life with strength, success, and purpose.
As she shared her testimony, she witnessed how it encouraged other women to trust God and overcome their own battles. In prayer, she sought guidance on how to reach more women with the message of hope and victory. God’s answer was clear: “Start a women’s group.” And so, My Sister’s Back (MSB) was born, a sanctuary where women can find healing, empowerment, and a faith-filled community.
The MSB Foundation was founded by a woman who defied the odds, overcoming teenage pregnancy, pursuing higher education, and rising to become a nurse and entrepreneur. Her journey is not just personal, it's prophetic. Rooted in her God-given name “Hephzibah,” which means “The Lord delights in her, “ is a testament to redemption, restoration, and resilience.
My journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced battles, experienced failure, and felt the weight of life’s challenges. But everything changed when I committed my life to God and began taking Him at His Word. His promises transformed my life, giving me strength, success, and purpose.
As I shared my story with other women, I saw how it inspired and encouraged them to trust God and rise above their own struggles. I prayed and asked the Lord how I could reach a broader community of women with my testimony and experiences. His answer was clear: Start a women’s group.
That’s how My Sister’s Back (MSB) was born—a space for women to find hope, empowerment, and community, rooted in faith and the Word of God.
At My Sister’s Back Foundation, our mission is to empower teenage mothers and women who have faced hardship or homelessness to rebuild their lives, rediscover their worth, and rise into purpose.
We are committed to creating a safe, faith-based space where healing, growth, and transformation can take place through mentorship, holistic support, spiritual guidance, and practical resources.
We envision a world where every woman who has fallen behind due to life’s challenges finds the strength to stand again, rooted in faith, restored in dignity, and walking boldly in her God-given destiny.
My Sister’s Back is more than a foundation, it’s a movement of restoration, resilience, and revival for women ready to turn pain into power and shame into strength.
